30.03.2015 – A KRS4 with full options has started work in Betonwerk Pfenning
The family company Pfenning located in Lampertheim produces concrete products of outstanding quality. In order to maintain these quality standards a decision was made to replace the old plant completely. Pfenning then made the decision for a REKERS KRS4 block machine with full options. The options start at the colour-mix draw plate for both base / facemix, then the variable servo vibration system as well as the automatic adjustable feedbox tables. The special feedbox clamping mechanism can be adjusted from the control console station to vary the table pre-tension. In addition to the block machine the complete dryside has also been modernised so that there are now 5 automatic cubers/transfer grabs to handle the products to/from the several secondary processing lines.
One of the most important factors that made Pfenning decide for the family company REKERS was the energy efficiency of the REKERS plant. Servo motor driven feedboxes, electric grabs and the many energy regeneration technologies contribute to the significant energy savings.
